騎士厄文（Kyrie Irving）報銷，大多數人都看好勇士將輕鬆奪下總冠軍，但格林（Draymond Green）認為，不能因此輕視騎士，還需要提防他們的兩大奇兵。
對於厄文的報銷，金州眾將士保持著清醒的頭腦。當家主將柯瑞（Stephen Curry）說：「沒有厄文，他們的打法也會有所不同，我們看了一些他們上輪與老鷹的比賽影片。未來要做的，就是防住他們每個人，並且堅持我們的比賽計畫。」
英文字學法格林表示，「他們（騎士）依然是非常出色的球隊，你知道，即使在沒有厄文的情況下，他們依舊非常棒，他們仍能在場上製造威脅。」
格林還特別提到騎士兩大奇兵，「我們將會更多的看到德拉維多瓦（Matthew Dellavedova）和麥克米勒（Mike Miller），以及其他人的發揮。他們會在場上展現出該有的拼勁。因此，對我們來說，大夥需要全力以赴，並且展現出比首戰更為出色的專注度。」
第二戰，詹姆斯（LeBron James）將承擔更多組織進攻的任務。在柯瑞看來，勇士需要做的和首戰非常類似，就是要很努力切斷詹姆斯與其他隊友的聯繫，「我們必須嚴格限制他（詹姆斯）周圍的人，我們知道他們很有天賦，知道他們可以有所表現，因此，我們需要對他們足夠關注，就像是我們關注詹姆斯一樣。」
詹姆斯談到明天的比賽，「我知道總決賽裡我們就不被看好，現在凱里（厄文）打不了，記者們又可以大作文章了！所以，好吧！我會讓大家準備好明天的比賽的。我們會準備好的。」
